A piece centered around our environment and our relationships around it. The story behind it is that in the distance there is an all-consuming fire. Everyone around it is watching it go up in flames. The moon is weeping, the clouds are crying. The tears they drop help ease the flames. The turtle is watching, receiving teardrops on it’s eyeshell, making plants grow and sprout back up, represented as eyelashes as well. It depicts a whole ecosystem, humanity just watching and it’s implied presence in the distance. It is a more hopeful piece, depicting a decaying landscape that with quick action and collective effort will grow back again. As always, some mystical elements involved👁❤️‍🔥🐢🌨

“Flaming, Weeping, Growing” = “Llamas, llanto y crecimiento”
Esta pieza esta basada en el medio ambiente y nuestras relaciones a su alrededor. La historia detrás del arte es que en la distancia, algo empieza a flamear, a incencendiar el paisaje. Alrededor, todos observan el humo y la destrucción. Las nubes lloran, la luna emite su llanto. Las lágrimas que caen ayudan a apagar el fuego lentamente. La tortuga observa desde el suelo, y recibe todas las lágrimas que caen en su caparazón de ojo, haciendo que las plantas crezcan y vuelvan a ser, representado por sus pestañas. Todo representa un ecosistema actual, con la humanidad viendo, y con su presencia implícita en el fondo. Aunque todo esto está ocurriendo en la pieza, tiene una connotación de esperanza, que con rápida acción colectiva todo crecerá de nuevo. Y como siempre, agregué elementos místicos entre toda la alboroto. ✌🏽👁❤️‍🔥🐢🌨
